Humminbird COM port cables

2010 Puma

I had a Humminbird 800 series sonar at the bow. The COM port cable has a y-cable. One cable goes to the antenna puck. Can you tell me what the other cable goes to?

The manual shows it hooking to a weather antenna, or a transducer with temp. You can go to humminbird.com and got to support to find your manual.
