I just installed a humminbird 1198 on my 04 Cougar and I am getting interference and I am not sure where its coming from. It is wired direct to the battery with 10ga wire. Let me also say I have a Verado, but i am running 4 batteries, 1 dedicated to the Verado and 1 is dedicated to the sonar units, and 24volt trolling motor. My only interference is with the depth. GPS functions are fine. The sonar will read fine and then all of sudden read 500ft or so, and after a bit go back to normal. It will repeat this pattern sporadically. I have an in hull transducer for running and the side imaging transducer mounted outside. My depth is getting interference with both transducers. I am using the older molder humminbird switch to switch the transducers. There is not a spike in voltage that i have noticed. I was using the in hull transducer and the switch with a 797 and it worked fine. I am lost. Any ideas will be appreciated.Jared
