I know this has probably been posted 1000 times, but can someone please give me a step by step process to transfer way-points from my old 957 to my new 958 and 998 units please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike

To Export All Navigation Data: 1. Make sure that an optional-purchase MMC/SD card is installed in the slot. 2. Press the MENU key twice to access the Main Menu. In the Navigation tab, highlight Export All Nav Data. 3. Press the RIGHT Cursor key to export all navigation data. The Confirm dialog box will appear. To confirm export, press the RIGHT Cursor key once more. To cancel export, press the LEFT Cursor key.

If you are running the latest software you will see a different menu option..it is still under Navigation but the second one down I think…it reads something like waypoints, routes, tracks.Access it then go up to options and select which data you want or select all data and export.once exported to SD just slide SD into other units and it will load.

I have a similar problem with my 788CI HD. I am running the latest software and when I select waypoints routs and tracks my unit does a restart and wont go to the selected item. Is there a way to do a hard restart or something?

Try Restoring Defaults….After I updated my 997 my Unit wasnt working quite right in a few different areas…I restored defaults and everything is running fine now….I read someplace that sometimes you have to Restore Defaults before and after you update the software…..
