We dont have images of the few we have mounted. Though we mounted them on a RAM mount in the recess where the screen folds to the deck for protection.

On dash you would use the side scan more than up front, put a puck transdeucer in hull to run with and go find structure

I have not put mine in but this is how I imagine using it. Puting around finding structure with the big motor. Once I mark it, getting on the TM and putting myself into position to fish it. Unless you have the money to put them front and back, you need to put on the dash.

Just got my 797 today with an extra transducer puck but my splitter cable didnt show. Im supposed to have a guy instal it tommorrow. Id love to get it out this weekend. Would it be dificult to put the splitter cable in after the fact? Or should I just wait and have them installed all together? Thanks, John

You can put in later,and probably should because I know h bird has been back ordering y cables fo awhile now, you can run both to dash and go ahead and use the unit, when you get the y cable just unplug whichever transdeucer you are running put the y cable in the unit and plug both trans. in then. Its easy to change wiring back and forth.
