Hydrowave Wiring on Bow

There is likely an extra hot and ground behind the bow panel. However, many people wind up with problems wiring electronics through the boats wiring harness. Best bet it is to wire it directly to the battery at the back and fuse it, or wire it to a terminal block that you can install in the console area and use a heavy gauge wire from there to the battery.

I hooked up mine to the 12v positive battery lead and ground for the trolling motor, I just put a short #10 wire coming out of the rear of the receptacle on each lead and then hooked up the Hydrowave to them with a fuse on the hot side and just like wiring direct, you must turn it off manually. If you use the extra power leads behind the panel, it will turn off with the boats main power switch.
