I was reading the post about the most trolling motor you could put on a boat, so I decided to share. I own a 2013 Eyra, about 3 weeks ago I put 2 8ft Blades on the boat as my last “upgrade” following the electronics change. I must say….WOW!!! Where have these been all my life?? Gives you one of those, “Wish I would have thought of that head-slaps!!” These will drastically change the way you will/can fish an area. You will also use them every time you dock to keep your boat from banging into things if it is tight or breezy. I suppose you could use the drift paddles when on ledges, but for this time of year when the fish are shallow it is a GAME CHANGER for sure, no more unhooking or retying and then 30 seconds on the troller to get back to your spot. Just fish. When I bought my boat a buddy said, hey where are your poles, I told him I do not tourney fish and see no need….I stand corrected. If you choose Talon or Power Pole or whatever, these will benefit you in many ways. Linc W.
