Well, after being out of work for over 3 months, I finally got a job offer. Will be the new full time draftsman at http://www.facadeconcepts.com I appreciate all of the prayers. This will include a pay raise over my last job, and Include %100 paid health insurance. So, its like getting two raises! Lol. Only downside is I willmhave a one hour commute each way. So, my old 4×4 truck is sold, got an offer on it today too. And hopefully the 2wd Tahoe Ive been eying is still for sale. 13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods

Congrats on all counts. As far as the commute, I look at it like this…..I drove 75 miles one way to and from work each day. It took me an hour and a half. My dad drove 20 miles one way to and from work in Houston and it took him an hour and a half. Congrats on the new job. Definitely a good day! The drive is what you make of it like Toledobasser said. I have been doing it for 4 years now and I use it as my “quiet” time. With 2 little kids there is none once I get home.2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS

Sounds like a move up hill. Congratulations! Keep the truck and get an econo car. You may be able to save a nickel.
