I have a pantera classic 02 model and the top cap i starting to get just a little oxidation in it, I dont think the guy who had it before me kept it covered dont get me wrong you gotta get it in the shade to see it but it drives me crazy. The oxidaton is very minor but like i said i dont like it so i was looking in to products to remove it but there is always that risk of putting something on it and making it worse. I was thinking of NU PAINT by PRO-TEC i was just wondering if anyone has used it or any other products that have worked and the oxidation didnt return i have used stuff on previously owned boats and it work but then the oxidation come back. and i dont want something really avrassive b/c like i said it is very minor.

You might want to try the Aquabuff product they have in the parts section, under the boat maintenance tab on the left. It sounds like the right product. I was surprised by the $75.00 price, and I cant tell how big the bucket is. I dont really want 5 gallons of the stuff. Rick maybe adding the size info would be helpful, I tried the magnify tool but there is nothing on the front of the bucket.

Heres the deal as I understand it- oxidation is loss of gloss in clear portion of gel coat.Theres a fine line between buffing down enough to find new gel coat with gloss I figure and finding flake and being hosed(cause you need more clear coat).If it were me Id call the plant and ask for Garry or Bobby and send them boys a pic.They are the Mr. Miagis of BCB gel.Next to ol Tick-Tock himself who I imagine aint cheap to hire these days!C.O.D. Well thats the thing i have tried to take pictures of it but it is so minimal it doesnt show up in photos. To see it you have to get down eye level in the shade. Its almost like it has a film on the surface but it doesnt wash off, Im pretty sure it is oxidation but it is on the surface
