Topic: I think I dropped battery cell

So, out of the blue, when I try to crank the motor, my graphs power off.. and at the end of the day, I had to start jumping off my cranking battery..I get home and put things on the charger, and it stays red, while the other 3 channels go green.. time for a new cranking battery.. UGH.. thats all part of it..Mo

Either that or a charger issue, rotate your battery leads to another battery.

so, I moved the terminal from my cranking (bad/ terminal4) to my TM battery, and to the TM terminal (good/terminal 3) and now the terminal 3 light stays red.. so I am thinking the battery is shot now since I moved the charging terminals and the problem moved on the charger.

Sometimes the onboard chargers will not recognize a battery that is totally discharged. If you have a portable charger try charging the suspect battery first ,then see if the onboard will complete the charge. After fully charging check with an volt meter after an hour or so. You should read 13-14volts.Bob

Your Noco (if this is the culprit and what you have) should have a 2 year Warranty I believe?

The completely discharged issue was my culprit when I installed my new 3 bank charger. I hooked my factory single bank charger to the affected battery for a couple hours, then switched everything back and have not had any issues since. Another reason I love my 36v system upgrade on my 19 foot boat. My batteries never get drained no matter how much wind or current and it charges fully in about 8 hours

I bought a new battery.. put on the charger.. all lights are green now
