Ecat, Im very proud to have another HO Man on this board. If your bored 1 day get me the Model and serial # please, a couple of the 225HOs left Sturtevant,WI with the 1.86:1 gear case, others had the 1.71:1 Gear Ratio, you may know what you have, does it Rip you into the seat at Launch, or is it a Lil slow out of the hole with Blazing Mid range and Top end? What prop came with it? Thanks everyone!Hey Flyswatter, how is that SHO working out? Been able to let er rip yet? I like the mods you have done to your rig.Brannon, this HO is awesome. Everyone always comments on how quiet it is and the power is unbelievable. It came with a 25 Fury but I was hitting the limiter with ease so I got a 26 Fury and can still hit the limiter at times. I have ordered an 8″ hydraulic Detwiler so I can dial it in easier. Currently hitting 73.5 mph (gps) at 6050 rpms with 20 psig water pressure. I am thinking a 27 Fury will be in my future unless you recommend a different prop??? I tried a 26 Tempest Plus and liked the lift that prop gave but lost 2 mph on top and it wouldnt push the boat on the trailer (the Furys will load the boat into the back of the truck if not careful!). Holeshot with the Fury is very good.My model # E225DHLSCF built 10/2007Serial # 05217780Any help you can give or advice is always welcome!

Ive got A 08 Cougar with a 08 225 HO and have seen 77 mph with a 26 Fury full of gas and all of my gear . Im gonna run a buddys 27 pretty soon cuz Im also over 6 grand with a 26 Fury and a 27 Temp plus ! So Ecat , keep playin with it shes still got a lil more to give ya !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Gunrunner! I am still working on the set-up and will dial her in eventually. Still playing with shifting loads around in the boat also. I will find the right combination one of these days!
