I thought I had some foreign language option turned on,then I see the pics of soccer games. Im afraid to respond to that guy. Lord only knows what that might open.
Yuku is horrible for not having a way to report spam to forum moderators. And BCB is slow about getting around to it since the only people who admin the page are the two or three people at BCB who log on to check during the day.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods
Yeah, I looked at one. I live near Zwolle, LA and there is an Ajax, LA, so I thought it was something in my area. Didnt bother looking at the others once I knew what was going on.Jim EbarbMany, LA (Toledo Bend Lake)2004 Cougar/ 225 OptimaxHumminbird Helix 12 Chirp SI on BalzOut Mount at bowLowrance HDS 7 at bowHumminbird Helix 12 Mega SI on Ram Mount at ConsoleLowrance HDS 8 in dash at console
Three posts an hour deep and we are slow to respond? We dont monitor the forum 24/7 and neither do most forum admins. We think an hour to find a post that is stuck on this evening is pretty solid. We do miss garage sale and some posts on the Boats For Sale forum as we dont chekc those as often as the Owners Board. We have no moderator control on the Bass Boat Central site. These are toast! Please let somene in house know when youmsee something we missed. We have several who monitor the boards and we get information from many of you informing us when we need to moderate or delete a post. If it needs some attention then we get told about it and we address it. Between Jason, Rick, Ivan, Stuart, Billy, Steven, Richard, Marcy, and a few more, we get plenty of views on the forum. Then we have six outside sales staff checking for developments also in LA, TX, TN, MO and NY, or wherever they are traveling. Added to that we have Phil, Doug, Mike and other out of office eyes that will clue us in when we miss something. Thats about 20 pair of eyes sort of pacing our way through it.

I stand corrected. But, my forum (before I sold it) had 24/7 moderators. and spam posts usually only lasted a few minutes. If they ever even made it onto the forum to post. Most of the time spammers were caught during the sign up process and banned before even being able to post. So, I guess my comment might have been a little prejudiced. It would be extremely expensive for a not for profit forum to employ 24/7 moderators. Also we depend on Yuku which no they dont catch them before hand we find. That would be nice though. BCB
It was fairly cheap for me, free matter of fact… thats what loyal members are for Had several that volunteered to monitor the forum, several of which worked a desk job on the night shift, so they were able to keep an eye on things at night, while the rest of us kept an eye on things during the day… We were not in the money making game either. At least, not until someone offered to buy the site from me.13 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods
Give me the delete button ! I doubledog dare you !!! I informed ol GW about more crap in the early days than I care to remember, and he would immediately handle, but now is so much better than then. Moderation of this site would be easy compared to some others.I think the moderators do an excellent and timely job on this site !
