Importance of using YamaLube oil

I have a Yamaha HPDI 225 and have always use YamaLube oil. I am having trouble finding it and was wondering how important it was to continue using Yamahas oil compared to another brand. I appreciate your opinions.

We use Merc prem on our 150 yammy on our bay boat, no problems- just use same grade as yammylube!!BAYOU BANDIT

If your motor is still under warranty then I would be more tempted to use it but if the motor is out of warranty then I would not worry about the brand as along as it meets the TC-W3 requirements.
