importation to canada!

Hi guys im new here , im looking to by a bass cat from a member here and to import the boat in canada . If some of you already did that can you tel me how did you pay or how did you get pay for the boat .and how went the deal Please help me i want that boat ?

how can they help me with the process of buying the boat , sorry for my newbie question but its the first time !And i really understand the the guy that im buyiung from to be on is guard and he understand me to be on my guard also!is thare any way for both of us to work something safe !

I bought by Cougar FTD, from Upper Canada years back… They handled all the importation things.I think this boat marty is looking at is used… I had no information on what you would need to do, but I would definatly look into cross boarder duties if you go and buy it. In the number of times I have crossed the boarder on trips to the states, the boarder patrol going both directions is always wanting to make sure that the plate on the trailer is Canadian and that it is my boat from Canada.

thanks guys i think i just mist my deal , the boat is no more for sale!I already contact upper canada but they dont have any boat in stock and i dont have the money to pay 40000$ and more for a new boat. Do any of you know how much for a sabre ftd new with a 175 optimax approx!

hey thereupper canada does have a used sabre there its in mint condition and I think he wants 23k for it..

yes he has one but he is little over my price ( email recvd from him at panthera classic 2004 $28,000 )for what i can see from here!And also he as a efi engine on it , im looking toward a opt or hpdi engine!Last edited by marty on May 17th, 2010, 4:42 pm, edited 2 times in total.
