I don’t know where you are located, but one of the best ways, besides going to the dealers and sitting in models, or maybe visiting with an owner that is close to you after you think you have narrowed down your models to just a couple of choices is if you can make one of the dealer’s meetings, the classic, or any of the other events that Basscat or their dealers have which will have a number of different boats there where in one day you can ride or drive a bunch of different ones and get a feel for each one. I am on my 3rd one, a P2, a Cougar FTD, and now a Cougar Advantage. I am 6’2” and about 250 so I’m not a little guy. I like the cougars and the P2 but then again I am a fan of that particular layout. Most owners, depending on where you are will take you out in their boats as well.
