there has to be a way to implode that well. heck, ive read how the russians used a small tactical nuclear weapon to solve a similar problem over three decades ago. the heat from the bomb liquified the rock around the well head, which then cooled and hardened, closing the well.not saying we need to go nuke, but we have to have some type of weapon in our arsenal that can accomplish a similar effect, or at least cave in the well walls.were looking at AUGUST before any reasonable hope to stopping this thing from gushing..
