Install carpet in dry storage box

I have a Pantera Classic, and am thinking about carpeting the front dry storage box. Is there a reason its not already carpeted, or is it just done that way so its easier to handle wet items.

Thats it! We prefer a place to put items that are wet or oily worm bags and such. It can be wiped out and moisture does not create mildew and mold in that area. Another nice tip was last week on removing the drain plug while storing. People overlook this one as condensation develops in the cooling and warming of a stored boat. BCB

Thanks, maybe Ill just use Aquamats. Theyve worked well in the past, and theyre easy to take out and clean.

Im not sure what the product Aquamats are but they may be similar to what one of pontoon companies use, they use a Black, Rubber type of material that has holes in it and is textured, im sure it can be bought in bulk at a home store or online. I sell Avalon or Tahoe pontoons. Brannon
