Installing transducer

After many hours on the phone with Humminbird, they have determined my 858 dual beam transducer located in the hull is bad. Im not sure I believe them, but they sent me a new one under warranty. How the h— do you get to it to replace it. Im a mechanical idiot. Help!

The one in the rear sump should be easily seen right in front of the drain plug. It can be knocked out with some effort, a pry bar and a 32 oz hammer help too. Then use 24 hour epoxy to replace it, not the five minute type.
