Has anyone on the board had any dealings with Worldwide Marine in regards to having claims processed. Thinking about using them for my boat insurance.

One claim for about $2,700 in 2013, it was processed quickly. I was kind of surprised they didnt question it, it was for three or four different areas of the hull from getting on some rocks. I was poised to file a claim for the lower unit last year but Mercury covered it.

Yes I use worldwide and have for about 10yrs. All claims Ive made were handled without issue.

One member of the board had a stated value policy with them and his boat got totaled. Boat was replaced with no issues. Ive insured with them for about 7 years – no issues from me either. Fortunately – no claims for me, but I know their reputation should one happen. Its progressive insurance and he just specializes in boats. Its different to have an agent who understands boat issues and what needs to be covered. Theyre good folks.

I just recently swapped over to worldwide. I had insurance with the same insurance company for MANY yrs. Well my agent retired. For no apparent reason with the new agent my insurance made a increase. When I called worldwide and talked with them got them to send me a couple different quotes. So actually my old agent is a great friend of me and my family. Got him to look at the quotes. He said he knew of worldwide and it was a great company. So needless to say I swapped to worldwide. Though Ive been very fortunate Ive never had any claims.
