Saw a Ford Truck commercial the other nite. T he truck had a grab pole on the rear bumper with a round knob on top. Just like BCBs grab pole. Did you guys get a patent on that or did Ford just steal it. Martin

They either hacked it, or coincidentally had the same design just over few years of original conception. We had the concept long before it showed up in the F Series truck, and to be copied remains to be the highest form of flattery. The Bronze ball is a bit close and does seem to be more than a coincidence. BCB

For those that dont have the grab post and step you dont know what you are missing, especially if you have to load your boat on you own!

I disagree with the whole pole and knob thing!!! I miss Jason slippin off the boat and fallin in the water. No really guys I think it is the best thing since sliced bread, I dont have to do anything but back the trailer up now. If you dont have it, you should think about getting it. Automotive companies spend years in developing new ideas and testing them to ensure their safety and even more time deciding when to begin production for the consumer. Ford did not copy this design.

Who ever designed it, Henry Ford himself then, or BCB, mine is not for sale. Just makes life so much easier.

I work at Ford so Lets just say great minds think alike….We are starting to move up on the JD Powers list(tied with Toyota and Honda) so hopefully in a year or two we will be right on the top with you guys at Bass Cat…. By the way I had my Jag out on LSC today…..I like it more and more every time I take it out….
