Bass Cat Guys:I would like to formally introduce Rich from Pensacola, Florida to the Bass Cat family. Rich purchased my red, white, and blue 09 Puma FTD yesterday and was a sincere pleasure to deal with. I also appreciate the kind remarks he had for my wife and me as he described his boat buying experience on my boat add on the Bass Cats for sale page. He and his wife drove from Pensacola, Florida to Temple, Texas to purchase my boat. I did not have the opportunity to meet his 16 year old son, but I heard several stories about him and his love for bass fishing. He may grow up to be a Bass Cat Pro fishing the elites and giving Ike a tough time. I wish nothing but the best for Rich and his family.Cliff Brown from Texas Boat World handled the transaction for us, and the sale was very smooth. I am also proud to state that Rich made a wise decision in choosing a Bass Cat, as my 09 Puma FTD was the best bass boat that I have ever owned, bar none. I owned Rangers and Tritons in the past, and none of my prior boats gave me the total performance that the Puma FTD provided. Also, my joy of interacting with the Bass Cat family on these pages has been nothing but an immense pleasure, and I am absolutely certain that Rich and his family will feel the same way as they get to know you guys.I just hope that Rich keeps my Puma clean, well waxed, and perfectly maintained. As I got to know him a little better during the sale, I could tell that he was the right guy for my boat and that he and his family would treat her with much love and care. Geez, I felt like I was giving a daughter away at her wedding as he was driving away with my boat. I will immensely miss my Puma FTD, and in many ways I regret selling the boat; however, I know that Rich and his family will put her to good use and enjoy the Puma as much as I did. Please give Rich and his family a warm welcome to his new Bass Cat family. I really like Rich and his family a great deal, and I know that you guys will enjoy interacting with them on these Bass Cat Internet pages. Corky

Did you play the wedding march as it exited the drive way, or did your wife throw in the waxing towel she used? Welcome Rich and Family to the BCB Family!

Rich,You will have fun in that brackish water chasing those fightin red fish. How about a pic of your BassCat? Congrats and welcome to the family.
Rich welcome to the Family! I got my Cat through Cliff at Texas Boat World in December of 2009.
Thanks for the kind words and warm welcome. This boat is amazing, so much nicer than I had even hoped. Corky and his wife Mary made the deal even that much sweeter, as they are super nice folks, and took amazing care of the boat. I have always been a nut for keeping things clean, well maintained, and always polished and shiny. Buying a new one would be great but it is just not really in the cards for me, so I usually have a ton of work to do when I get something…..NOT THIS TIME!!!! Corky, Mary, my wife Sandy, and I had some good discussions and laughs about how anal Corky and I are about waxing and taking care of things, I believe I like this more than fishing!!I tried the boat out for the first time yesterday just for a little run, and WOW, this thing is so cool!! It will definitely take a little while to really learn how to drive it fast, but it sure handles great at a little slower speeds. It will also take me a while to figure out the fish finders, livewell system, etc, but I am beginning to get a handle on them. This is the kind of boat that you dont want touching any docks, so it was a little hard as my son is just recovering from ACL reconstructive surgery, so it was like I was by myself. And after that, she got her first washing and wiping down from her new owner. It was in such good condition, that it only took me 2-1/2 hours, LOL. The boat was real easy, most of the time was spent around cleaning the jackplate and tilt / trim area (I found that a little elbow grease and WD-40 did a great job in this area).I have been wanting a Bass Cat for a while now, and I just cant believe that I actually own one. There arent a bunch of them in this area, and that is the coolest thing about it!! I am not used to so many people staring in my direction!! Seems like everyone has a great comment about it. Now, I just cant wait to really FISH out of it.Again, I just cant say enough about Corky and Mary…I feel like I have made a couple new friends.Rich
WOW Corky that was a Fast Sale….Then again your boat was not quite a Used BCB, im sure it was as nice as a Showroom model……If you need help with your 2012 Colors let me know, even though I sell the Bird Boats I can still color a Wicked BCB!!!!!! BrannonYour Signature …
