Just did a little checking on BBC, High end inventory for the “R”boat, 2013 and 2014, by my count, +/-, a couple??520s…45521s…26Didnt make allowance for what dealers may have on their lot!On the BCB for sale pages 1 – 3…2013s “9” plus 1 2012 Jag.You guys can draw your own conclusions.Didnt bother with any of the others, I just make my comparisons on my boat to the “R” boat, thats all.

Yes and theres a pile of new Rs and Ss on dealers floors.

We do not overload dealer floors by design as a good percentage end up non current. Most of the other manufacturers are presently requiring dealerships to increase inventory. There is a significantly larger number of used boats in one of those brands and a lesser number in the other. No doubt they both build more boats than BCB and there is not as large a difference as there was prior to the recession. It will interesting to watch this all unfold.

as I was looking at trading my 1998 Jaguar I looked at “R” boats for comparison sake so that in my mind I would know what else is out there. In my opinion the differences in the brands is even greater than prior years. The gap in quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail is greater than ever. Didnt even get into pricing. Wouldnt of mattered. Junk is junk. I am in a 2013 Eyra now.What a boat, and I wouldnt of gone wrong with any BassCat model. No comparison anymore.Robert

Im not knocking anybodys rig, but theres always a lot of ribbing over on BBC about “R” boats being slow. Are they talking about on the water? Or coming off the showroom floor? Seems like a lot of excess inventory.
