Here lately on my 96 p11 with omega digital dash the voltage on the dash has been fluctuating while engine is not running and causing the voltage gauge to flash. When this happens the aerator will not work or any other feature on the dash. What could be causing this? The voltage on my graph is always showing 12.2 or up to 14 when running and stays around 12.2 or so when engine is not on. Kind of frustrating when trying to run livewells. Any help is appreciated

not sure if it would be the same for your boat as mine doesnt have the digital dash.. On my 99 pantera i had a voltage drop comming out of the touch pad. I traced it back to the circuit breaker on the master switch panel down on the side. I replaced that circuit breaker and it fixed the issue. If you have a digital volt meter check the input voltage going into the dash and go from there. If the input voltage is good then must be something in the dash itself. Maybe your graph sources power from a different location than through the dash.

Yeah, it sources directly from cranking battery. Most of the time it is fine it may stay for hours as 12 + or it may just all of the sudden go down as low as 10.4 with nothing on.

12.8 is a fully charged battery, and 12.4 is a static rested one. The engine should put voltage higher than 12.2 if the battery is good, and it should run around 13 to 14+ while running. There are a number of issues you should check from circuit breaker on the in line lead, to the junction block and area where the stub leads are plugged into AMP connectors. Corrosion can be the dickens on one of these. BCB

the volts do read 12.2 to 12.4 while not running and does go up to 13.8 to 14 when motor is running. I will check breakers and corrosion when i get home. Thank you for fast response.
