I bought my puma ftd in october of 2010. I just got off the lake wiping the boat down and already i have a crack in the gett about 3 inches long on the passenger side. It is on the edge of where the passenger seat and driver seat setting where it attaches to the inside of the boat. I was definately not expecting this especially already and somewhat frustrated. Any info is appreciated

Take pics. Email to [email protected]. certainly if they appear to be a defect as opposed to an injury ypu will be fine. Bcb will give u answer in a day or two. Its easy. No need to worry. Btw are u talking about where the frame that the seats are on is bolted to the glass beneath? )C.O.D. Jr. III

Yes thats where im talking about. Since my gas cans are in back it is one piece. It is happening at the 90 degree bend so its cracking each direction. Any weight from is gonna continue to spread it further. Definately no room there to be caused by impact as wel as i havent impacted anything. I really feel bass cat will take care of it. Especially when bought brandnew in October. I will just go ahead and email pics to Pete in parts to the ball rolling.

Yes, i have read that but thanks for posting. But to have only had my boat since october and used starting in march, i wouldnt expect this that soon. Im just going to do as i said and send pics to Pete and await a call from them

The factory position on a boat is usually that they tend to be lenient on newer product, though no boat company covers stress fractures in the warranty. Take a picture and get it to your dealership, then they will forward it to service for an opinion. Often the dealers soften this some for you. BCB Admin.
