Howdy! I’ve got a 2000 PanteraIII with lots of sonar history. If I look under the dash there are a number of old connectors just hanging around. I was changing out my rod box lights to LED and found this up in the roof of the box beyond the lid. Seems like a very inefficient way to get a sonar signal but I can’t imagine what else it would be. Any thoughts? If you like it, it’s for sale 🙂

KVH Compass sensor for the BP dash assembly. Do you still have the BP dash active? If so then that’s the sensor, if not that’s a nice piece for someone who has one. Those were for compasses before GPS and Loran and Compass was the navigation equipment before GPS.

That part value when the boat was built is around $350 each.
