COULD SOMEONE @ BASS CAT (MAYBE LIKE RICK) TELL US WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET THE TEAM FISHING TOURNAMENT IN TENNESSEE? THERE ARE A LOT OF BASS CAT OWNERS IN THE VOLUNTEER STATE WONDERING WHY WE HAVE TO KEEP PASSING ALL THE GREAT FISHING LAKES WE HAVE TO OFFER TO GO OUT OF TOWN TO FISH. WHY DONT YOU HOLD THE TEAM FISHING EVENT IN THE MIDDLE TN AREA? WE HAVE ALL THREE SPECIES OF BLACK BASS, A GREAT DEALER, & PLENTY OF WILLING PARTICIPANTS. WE JUST THINK IT IS OUR TURN! RIVERSIDE MARINE IN OLD HICKORY TENNESSEE IS A GREAT DEALER FOR YOUR COMPANY, AND I AM GLAD THEY ARE A PART OF YOUR DEALER NETWORK.Last edited by MIDTNBASSMAN on October 9th, 2008, 11:30 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Exactly which tourn. are you referring to? The OI will always be in ARK., there is no way BCB could put on that affair away from Mountain Home. If you have ever attended that affair you would understand why.BAYOU BANDIT
I agree we would like to have the Team Championship here in middle Tennessee. Riverside Marine is great and always supports BassCat Boats I think they should get to host the big show.
THE TOURNAMENT THAT LOCAL CLUBS ORGANIZATIONS ETC, CAN QUALIFY TO FISH FOR A NEW BOAT, MOTOR, AND TRAILER AND 100-200% PAYBACK THAT BASS CAT IS HOLDING THIS YEAR ON COLUMBUS LAKE/TENN-TOMBIGBEE WATERWAY. NO ONE WOULD EVER ASK OR EXPECT FOR THE OI TOURNAMENT TO BE ANYWHERE ELSE. BASS CAT NEEDS TO CONSIDER TENNESSEE, THJIS WOULD BE A GREAT BOOST TO A MARKET THAT IS STILL RELATIVLEY NEW COMPARED TO THE OTHERS AND BE A GREAT BOOST FOR PROMOTING BASS CAT IN THE TENNESSEE MARKET. Brad, I feel your pain LOL I agree 100% that Steve and Reed have done a great job of actually growing their tournament trail in a market where LOTS of trails are really suffering. We also have a new dealer in middle TN area with Skippers picking up BCBs up in Cadiz KY. That being said I do appreciate BCBs being able to pull off any tournament anywhere in the US. I qualified to go to MS, Ive done my budget. Now I have to make a TOUGH decsision to drop about 1300.00 (without food cost) on a week in MS, right before the holidays, on a lake that is full of stumps and has little to review in the way of maps etc.. I could trim a little of that amount and just go down with no pre-fishing to a lake Ive never seen with my wife (her first year fishing tournaments) and risk tearing something up or stay close to the main river. I have to think that Ron and Rick have stayed in business by making sound decisions after much thought. Will I go this year? The verdict is still out. Tennessee or Alabama sure would have been nice. Lets help our local dealers have a stellar 09 and maybe we can get the tournament closer next year?
THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT, AND GOOD LUCK!
Where are you going in MS? I will let you and your wife stay here if it will help plus help you with the lake; If it is one in our area. Just an offer to help a fellow BCBer out.
Get with Basscat247….his name is Joey. He knows these lakes in MS and people so he may be able to help.
This is the fourth year and we originally committed to Columbus on a return trip in 2005. Guntersville and Gadsden are both close to Nashville and we in year one announced a triangle of events. We had planned on Florence area and could not get that put together. This event is not focused on Bass Cat owners. It is for all Team events. Plus you could be coming from New Mexico or New Hampshire as we are expecting Four Corners, New Mexico. We will plan on future events after we close 2008.
gnntersvill, kentucky lake. barkley, old hickory all great ones
