I have a 1997 Sabre that currently has an inoperative CMC PL65. I see that Bobs makes a 8 inch setback hydraulic plate specifically for Basscats. Will that unit work on the Sabre or should I stick with the 6 inch setback.
The 8” should be fine if your boat is in good condition.
By good condition I assume you mean that transom is solid. Boat does have some gelcoat cracking at bow and on gunwales.
