Sorry didnt mean to title it like that. But i finally took a picture of my jag. Ive had her for only two months now and chomping at the bits for spring time. Its a 98 and almost flawless for that year of a boat, very well taking care of. Just wondering what kind of set up does anybody have on there jag and what kind of performance they get. Have not seen or heard much about the jags out there. Was there anything missing on that model that was preferred.

The Jaguar was the top of the line/food chain for BassCat at the time. It came with pretty much everything loaded on it. Short of a boarding ladder and/or flipping deck extension, you pretty much have everything covered. Oh, and an Aurora Canvas cover was an option at the time. As far as performance, depends on your engine/set up. If that is a 225, it will run good and do a great performance in rough water. If that Mariner “gray wolf” is a 250, it will run good and do a great performance in rough water. Thanks kent and jignpig. It did come with the canvas cover and the flipping deck. the motor is a 225 with 4blade prop. Oh yea like all the talk about you SEC lovers. Hopfully DAN IS THE MAN. GO DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!

If everything runs as good as it looks, probably low 70s on speed loaded. That EFI will use more gas at wide open throttle than the Optimax, but it is a very reliable engine. The trophy will give it some bow lift and seemed to be a preferred prop on that boat. Enjoy it…and our chatter about SEC sports. I do have a question. ive been 73.7 gps at 6100 rpm and the buzzer telling me to tuck it back under, but there was no “what they call” rooster tail. I have been in a couger and pIII with rooster tails screaming with no movement chine. If i try to do that in my jag it has a vilot chine

cpcat, You will have to learn a bit of left hand to eye coordination. That is your chine walk. All of them will do it if you dont know how. It takes seat time and a bit of learning. Most have a 26 Trophy on them. BCB
