What are you looking for I make jigs for myself and friends. I do not have a business I just enjoy the designing them and them going out catching fish on something that I crafted myself and when people ask what I cought them on I can say one of my custom jigs.
JOEY WATTS A BASSCAT OWNER MAKES PROBABLY THE BEST JIGS ON THE MARKET -give him a shout at———flatlands247@aol.com . SAMBAYOU BANDIT
I know a guy here in NW Arkansas who makes some great jigs. Excellent colors and very good quality stuff. Sean Coble. coblefamily@gmail.com
You cant go wrong with the flatlands jigs. The bream color has been my best go to all year for large mouth. Going to try some of the craw colors on Flaming Gorge Sat. for smallies. I tell Joey what kind of conditions Im fishing and he works the the patterns up for me. Rob
joeys jigs are the best jigs i have run across. I have got about 10 of them and they work. best part is that he will build them with any color you want…he has made some strange color combos for me .
These that my friend Sean makes are good stuff. He can make pretty much any combination of color, sizes, and types of jigheads. He makes a color similar to okeechobee craw which is downright deadly!!
Joey Watts makes the best jig ive used and seen. I would get his jigs.
Also, Joey is trying to get his business started and make a little spending money while trying to accomplish a situation where he can rely on this business as a source of income. We need to support him in his task and he does make probably the best custom jigs on the market. SAMBAYOU BANDIT

You will get all kinds of opinion on this but I like the Strike King Premier Pro Model personally. The head design and the direction the line tie is allows it to come through about anything. If I am fishing deeper stuff w/ rocks and brush then I use the newer Strike King football jig in 3/4 oz. I have used 1/2 but I honestly think that 3/4 oz is the best size because you want this bait to stay on the bottom in my opinion. Judd Lasiter
For heavy cover I use the stone jigs. Seems easier for me to pitch it through holes and such.Jason Desertdweller.com Get Your Bass in the Boat!
Check out the Flipping Jigs made by Basscat247 in the props for sale area. They are top quality and you will not be dissappointed. I just recieved a oreder of 12 and Im very happy with them. ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
What is heavy cover? Aint any at LOZ. The cruiser traffic destroys it all. Anyway, I throw a 1 oz. grass jig at Kincaid. Pitch it about 15 ft. high and let it punch through the mat. LOZman
Depends on your “heavy cover”- I have looked at pouring my own lately and heres my take- although Im no D.Swann Wood- cross line tie and recessed biggest hook you can find removable rattles some rubber or silicone skirt Rocks- Deep? recessed cross tie for sure and a real paint job- not that powder stuff that isnt sealed 90 or at least 45 degree tie so you can pop it up out of the rocks when you get hung Removable rattles Rubber skirt(fine) with silicone for flash Huge round tip hook Tight skirt holder- tied or wired Superficial- jetty? at least 30 degree hook Recessed tie Not worried about rubber Nasty hook- round shaft/point Tied skirt- wire or tie- rubber collar ok but it better be tight. Grass Oldhams. Wish I could get fine round rubber for all of them but I cant find a source of rubber that can apply glitter or accents to rubber like siliconeLast edited by clownshoes on January 8th, 2009, 10:19 pm, edited 2 times in total.C.O.D.
