Just got an email from Sunrise that they got the ok to go ahead and have a tourney the days the OI was supposed to occur. For those of you still going up you might as well fish it.The way they look at it is simple, 100 boats at $150 they have $15k to award. It will be a 100% payback.If you there, you might as well fish it.

Thats good news! Spoke with Lou at Hummingbird Hideaway and the Lake Norfork Chamber and the resort owners are pretty excited. The only stumbling block was Corps approval and they received that this morning. Tomorrow the Chamber is meeting to discuss logistics, etc. Looks like there will be a BBQ and some lesser activities for those BassCat folks here or en route. I think BCB is also participating which says a great deal about Rick and company. As Jman mentioned the current plan is for a 100% payback tournament on 20 and 21 May. The launch site has not yet been determined but there are several options. It would be a really good idea to let your resort know if youre coming to MH and intend to fish prior to tomorrows meeting. so, what is the plan? where would you sign up? who would u call? sign up when u get there? just wondering and realize some folks are still putting this together. dont expect all answers instantly. still, this sounds interesting. still a owners only? I would hope so. awaiting some info
