I hear youve been “slummin” on Dardanelle ? Nobody else would go with you ? Id have loaned you my boat !!!!! FlavaFlav ? Impressive on many levels. And NO, You cant have my partner. Heck when you consider the handicaps he really did it with one hand behind his back-1) Partner sucked2) Big motor sucked3) Troller sucked4) Scale sucked(culled by eyeball…and there was some of that goin on all day)5) Cull beam sucked(didnt have one)6) Frog selection suckedBut first and foremost that dude hadnt been up there in MONTHS.If you ever wonder why the elite guys are good heres the conclusion I came to-They know more than you about seasonal patternsThey have more tackle than youThe stuff they have is better than your stuff anyway if you think you have just as muchThey fish far more efficiently than youThey pattern fish faster than youThey drive the boat better than youSubsequently-They catch more than you- and if that wasnt painful enough they catch more big ones than you because of everything else above if you have a short memoryOther than that youre ready to compete with one!Last edited by clownshoes on October 1st, 2012, 5:49 pm, edited 1 time in total.C.O.D. I would fish with him. I could use some more learning about fishing. There is something to be said doing something with some one who is better than you are. No matter if it fishing, bowling, playing cards, you do get better. And yes I bought a few baits from peppers. Now I just have to unload about 200 lbs of the others that are in the bow of this boat.
