How many Ky Lake BassCats are on the forum? I fish Barkley but want to learn to do some ledge fishing over on Ky. Id be happy to take someone out on my Sabre if they would show be the ropes out on the Ledges. Plus Id love to see someone else boat. BassCats are few and far between around here. Cannot say Ive ever seen another one on Lake Barkley.

I fish Lake Barkley almost two weekends a month and several days during the week. Anywhere from the dam to Dover is what I call my home water. What area of the lake do you primarly fish? I do fish KY lake alot as well and the ledge bite has picked up with the steady current flow the past few weeks. Better have 22plus lbs if you wanna take home first place.

Ill be there Sat. – Tue. I booked a trip with Dave Stewart a month ago and had a blast. Fished for 5 hours and boated 17 keepers with the best 5 going 24 pounds. Im taking his Ledge class in September. Youll learn a lot about ledge fishing just fishing with him.Gary

Brad, I usually put in at Eddy Creek and fish betweem Prizer point and Poplar Creek. Let hook up sometime and fish. GRR884, ive heard great things about about Dave Stewart and like reading his fishing reports. I love to learn a few tips sometime.

That area is in my wheelhouse. You dont have to fish KY lake to get on good ledge fishing, there and tons of mega schools in the area you fish now!

Gary I got your PM, thanks, we should hook up sometime. For some reason my phone will not type in the PM section and I am not near my computer. You drive past my house (Henderson) to get to the lakes. Maybe sometime you could leave your boat behind and we could meet and take mine the rest of the way to save you a little on gas while towing or Id be happy to catch a ride and help pay for some fuel. Brad we definitley need to get together so you can show me how to ledge fish Barkley. This is my first boat big enough to get out on the ledges so I have never really tried it. I can find ledges but not fish!

Am plannin a week vacation for spring 2013 now for Kentucky lake. Dave Stewart on Kentucky or Barkley? Nother cat headed your way.

Man you really cant go wrong with either, both lakes fish alot alike that time of year and your really just at the mercy of the weather. However with that being said its Barkley and Kentucky and the fish are always biting somewhere and its up to you to find them!!

He takes his clients to where theyre biting. He lives couple miles from the Moors and likes to launch there but will meet you at other ramps to be picked up if you need to.
