I was looking at a new Bass Cat at a dealership and noticed that the kill switch lanyard hard a carabiner type clip with the Bass Cat logo on it. Are these available for those of us who own older cats?

Yes, the older one for safety switches were figure 8 shaped and worked extremely well, though are no longer available. The newer ones are just caribeener clips and they also make hooking up to the D rings much easier. We have all drunk the cool aid, and want as many things as possible with the BassCat logo on it.

You know! That is so true! Me included. Wow how lucky is “bcb” for this. Definitly not saying this In a negative way. Free advertising. Something as simple as a carbiner . Even I wanted one. Funny Ive been using a combination of the two (sans BCB logo) for a few years now. The caribeener clip I hook to the life jacket as the D ring is a little small and hook the figure 8 clip to caribeener clip thats larger and easier to find before starting the power plant. Has worked well.
