2005 PIV with 2005 200 Opti. 2nd owner, bought through Sherms Marine in November 2006 and took delivery in April 2007. Trailer: BassCat, dual axle, single axle brakes, pop axle (Ill include the wood ramps I fabricated to work the pop axle). Upgraded front bump roller. In spring of 2009 before I trailered to northern MN, I had the valve stems replaced on all the wheels and had all the wheels balanced (really improved the ride while pulling). Also installed new bearing buddies at the same time.Motor: 120 hours. Quickcleen and Stabil used on EVERY tank. 100 hour service done by Professional Marine in Louisville. Runs perfectly. Only issue Ive ever had was difficulty shifting into gear when its really cold, but Ive only ever experienced it when it was really cold and Professional said they saw no problem. Prop is four blade trophy. Top speed Ive experienced with half tank gas or so and two guys is 68.5 mph on gps.Boat: Beautiful condition, especially for a 2005. Issues: Gel coat chipped on bow at roller area from old roller style which exposed metal of trailer, minor but worth mentioning. Keel guard is installed. Minor scratch/gouge on rear drivers side gunnel. Several very minor marks from use, I really babied this thing. Auto bilge wasnt working, removed mercury switch and tested new switch, still didnt work. BassCat recommended I take it to local dealer, who wouldnt respond to me. So that is the ONE outstanding item that needs addressed.Specs:Batteries= New in 2009. Sears Platinum AGM cranking and Walmart Everlast trolling in aluminum batt trays.Tires= Original Indy 500 in great condition.Trolling motor= Minn Kota Powerdrive (I mainly fish muskie) 70lb AutoPilot. Ive got the aluminum backer plates for mounting a MK or Motor Guide thats not cable steer. MG 82lb was installed when I bought it but took a crap on me so I went with the MK.Electronics= SmartCraft Speedo, Tach and Water Pressure. Humminbird 797SI NVB at dash(with NMEA output run to smartcraft guage) networked to a 787 NVB on the bow. Lowrance flasher at dash(second unit included that was originally installed at bow). CD stereo with MP3 plugin. General= Dual console (glove box is huge), Includes 3 BassCat life vests, BassCat GoldenRule and a landing net. All compartments lighted. I had a hot foot and blinker trim controls installed by Sherms Marine, they also installed the passenger console. One butt seat and one regular pedestal seat. Includes bassboat fenders. Includes 1 gallon of Bassboat Saver cleaner/wax. Includes original build/order sheet. Detwiler “motor stays” included which clamp on to the steering ram and stabilize motor during trailering.Price: $24,500 with everything including me driving up to 250 miles or so to assist with delivery.$24,000 with everything including me driving up to 250 miles except trolling motor.$23,000 with everything including me driving up to 250 miles except trolling motor and both Humminbirds/network.Best contact is [email protected]
Very nice looking rig. P4s are hard to find and are in high demand. This one will be gone soon, especially with the low hours on the engine.
I made a mistake on the hours, the Opti only has 115 hours on it. Also, forgot to mention the Humminbirds include the weather sense module. The SI unit at the dash has both a transom mounted transducer and a shoot through run through a switch on a dash. Culmrite 3 bank on board charger. Swing tongue on trailer. Thanks to all that have had questions. Hate to see it go but its time for this kitty to have a new home.
Is this still avail. contact me at gathor51@gmail.com
I thought this boat would be gone by now
This boat is off the market. Ive decided to keep it. Thanks to all who have contacted me with interest. Damn PIVs, what they say is true, the owners tend to hold onto them.
