We hope Seth pulls through ith a win to help him financially set up for the next season. It would help pull the heat off and not having to struggle. Seths a nice young man from MN who needs to have more time to get tuned in on varying waters and how they fish differently from his base. The best fisherman in any region have to relearn fishing in every region. Seth needs a few more events of experience to close in on how the USA fishes.

Got to meet and talk to him for some time behind the scenes at the OI this year. Hes as cool as they come. Great guy I watched for two days was hoping he would pull it off.

I was his Marshall on Toledo Bend. He is up and coming. Seth will continue to do well.

So close. Hopefully, this and the AOY he qualified for because of his 2nd place, will give him the boost he needs to continue next year. Happy to see Ott win one as well. The bible verse he read as he was accepting his trophy on stage was quite a testimony to his humility. What a remarkable contrast with the rest of the world of professional sports.

Awesome week for Seth. It sure would have been nice to see him pull this off. Like he told Dave Mercer, it would allow him to make a career out of this. Lucky for him, Mille Lacs is his wheelhouse. After seeing how calm and collected he was this past weekend when faced with a career changing moment, you cant help but think he will be the man to beat this week on Mille Lacs. Hes not even practicing today. Thats confidence.

I believe he had a tournament on Minnetonka today. Dennys Super 30. Its good to be young. I couldnt even dream of fishing 8 straight days of tournament fishing.

He was at my buddies elite fest party every night of the tournament, I was there too, but I never got a chance to talk to him, too big of a crowd around the boat. Heard he was a good guy from those that did talk to him. Down to earth guy. Was really pulling for him to get the win.
