Lake Falcon??

I just booked a trip to Lake Falcon for the middle of March with Outlaw guide service. Has anyone here fished Falcon that time of year or fished with Tommy Law? Im taking my Dad and Im really hoping to to catch some giants. Oh and has anyone have a update on the border problems down there?

Heard good things about him. He also caught the lake record two years ago.

keep your eyes open if you fish the mexico side. my last trip in june i fished 5 days in the solado arm . the mexican fishermen tried to stay to stay a long way from your boat. look for a change in boat styles leave leave the area if fishing mexico. US side fish any place you like .

I will be fishing out of Tommy Laws boat of Outlaw guide service and Im not sure where we will be fishing. I will keep my eyes peeled and trigger finger ready, trust me.

Tommy is the man for deep water big fish but Ive heard a few stories about u having to fish behind him. If u want a all around good guy and u want to fish out a Cougar FTD give Garry Harlan a holla @ 1-417-388-2855. He is awesome flipping guide and he will show u all u want to know about the lake and he does his homework.

PS : I fish the Mexico side every time Im down there and Ive never felt uncomfortable just use comon since and dont wonder off to far. The lake is to low to get to the church and watch for water hazards. I am headed there sept 2nd i will post a report here when I return.

Hell catch the first one to two fish to make sure they are there and puts the rod down. At least he did that with us in his boat.

Just got back last night. Lake is low. I fish down there a lot and never have had any trouble in Mexico. Did better on the US side this trip. Go and have fun. Watch out for the rock piles that are starting to come out of the water. Also, the state park ramp will be unusable within 2 weeks. Theyll be launching off rocky points soon.

Thanks for the info and glad to see the Mexico side has some what setteled for now. Just may have to consider giving that guy a call.

Just booked me a ticket this weekend for December 26th and will be staying until January 1. Already have a 3 bedroom trailer booked also. Will be flying into San Antonio, have a 2 hour lay over and them board a little puddle jumper into Laredo. Some friends of mine that invited me and that I will be fishing with will pick me up at the Laredo airport and then off to Falcon for 3 1/2 days of fishing. Bunch of customers and friends of mine do this trip every year at this time. Should be a good time and looking forward to it.
