Me and Momma are planning a road trip to Lake Hamilton next month. She wants a 30lb striper, so I guess I have to take her.Any advice on guides or places to stay would be a great help. Were taking the boat, so any lodging thats boat friendly would be a plus.Thanks, Allen

really anywhere out on hwy 7 south will work for you the holiday in has a boat ramp there for you . The guides are wonderful and the best one Robert ward i think !! he usually has a great success rate . And he may suggest lake Quachita close to mtn harbour resort or denby point . Mtn harbour is really nice and they have docks and ramps and if you rent a cabin from them which is about the same price of a hot springs motel you can dock your boat for free !! and they also have thier own security to watch your stuff for you . I would call David Cochran(George Cochrans boy) and see if David could take you out on Ouachita. If David cant then Id ask him if George could!C.O.D. Jr. III

Thanks guys, appreciate the help. Weve done the Buffalo/White river trips before, but thought wed try something different.
