Norman in April is an interesting lake, depending upon how you like to fish. I would anticipate the some of the bass to be spawning at that time. The water temps right now are 49 on the main lake and 54 up river in certain locations. By April, youll see mid 60 degree water. At that time of year, if youre not a bed fisherman, Id throw three primary baits. Id throw weightless trick worms in black or bubble-gum, shakey-heads in green pumpkin, and Id keep a fluke tied on. So far as the best landing, it depends on what day your fishing. If its through the week, Id put it at Pinnicle off of Highway 150. If its Saturday, Id probably put in at Hager Creek. Good Luck to you. Charles
