LED Bow Light

I have a gift certificate from my wife to the BCB store and Im starting to look at things I want or need. Id like to know if I remove the bow light socket from my 2007 Puma will the LED Bow Light cover the area where the rivet holes are and can the LED be wired to the leads for the standard bow light?. This would give me a low profile permanent bow light. There are no dimensions listed for the LED Bow Light. That would answer the question if anyone knows. Also, how does this thing mount to the deck? Thanks in advance for any help.

Bow lights require 270 degrees of vision and also up and down angles. To make it legal you should raise the trolling motor bracket which would allow vision of the light 270 if it were mounted on the nose, under or around the bracket. We would just leave the socket in place. It mounts down with two screws and has a stainless hood cover that attaches with one rear screw. You would run the wire through the deck.

Thanks, BCB. I didnt think about the trolling motor bracket blocking the view of the light to port. Ill just keep the socket and plug my light in when needed.

It would take very little elevation if you want to, probably about 1/2″ or less.
