thats one of legends sales techniques! Dont worry about it.
Mark,Rick Pierce told me that folks who run/represent BCB should NEVER badmouth or run down another brand, ever!OK to point out strengths and good qualities of our brand, but you never improve your position by bad mouthing another one. Ive never forgotten that.Ill never tell another angler their boat is “bad” or inferior, but if they ask, I can sure point out the reasons I run a CAT.And, keep in mind, folks drive past Legend every day of the week to buy a BassCat!!Mike Whitten, Germantown, TN
I know quality . I am running my 4th basscat . looked at a Legend 211 before buying my puma .
I have toured the Ranger, the Skeeter, the Legend, the Gambler and the Bass Cat Factory at one time or another. I would urge anyone to do this before selecting a boat. I selected Bass Cat feeling that after seeing different construction methods there was no comparison. They all make quality products and have many satisfied owners, but none seem to have the same quality results as Bass Cat.
I was going to get a Legend before I got my Eyra.. I was offered a State Pro Staffers deal.. but I balked at it and chose to get into my First Cat.. I am so happy I made that decision..

Ive had dealers representing other brands, talk down about some of the Cats that Ive had….I normally just tell them that differences in opinions, likes/dislikes are the reason there are different brands offered for sale.
Never trust a salesman when your talking face to face and his shoes be tapping…

Yeah its now basically JM owned brands, Basscat and Phoenix accounting for probably 90% of the market with a few smaller sales brands thrown in there.
And Skeeter.
This purchase is a chess move to keep old grudges from having leverage.C.O.D. Jr. III
