Im new to using a lester charger and Im very happy with the added Battery power. The only issue/concern I have is how hot the plug and wire get. I can hold my hand on it without burning, but it is HOT. Is this normal?
I checked the plug and there were signs of melting plastic on the ground wire. I also noticed the marinco plug was a 12v not 12 / 24v. That did not seem right. I replaced it with a 12 / 24 plug and seems to be charging okay and wires are not hot. Which plug does Basscat use?
