What year boat? It is probably the connection. In the center of the rail there should be center support bracket, on this bracket there should be a nut with an allen screw in it, lossen that allen screw, push the light into the gunnel and then pull out once it clears the supportbracket where you just disconnecte it from. The original back in 06/07 were one piece i believe and this may be more difficult with those, and not sure of the procedure, but the newer models are two pieces. You should be able to look up each gunnel with the lights on and see if its the fwd or the aft light that is out. Oh and they are not going to just slide in and out, you better be ready to get a good grip on them and do some twisting and turning on the sucker to get it out of the gunnel.
