http://mcaf.ee/k2tgctragic event. lighting can strike from far away. if you can see the storm than you are close enough to be struck.

I have aways heard that if you can hear thunder your to close.

Agree, with Joey, if u can hear it, to close.Friend of mind in Iowa lost his brother to a lighting strike while fishing few years ago. They were in another boat and said u could barely see the cloud where the bolt came from.Ron
