Guys, Catholic High School in Little Rock is trying to organize a tournament for its youth. They have about 10 or so young men that participate on a regular basis. The tournament is scheduled for April 19 from 7 to 12:30 on Lake Maumelle. It was originally going to be on the Arkansas River, but the flow is way to high for that. Anyway, if any of you are interested in fishing, it will predominately be a father/son or father/daughter type event. Not that you cant fish with a buddy, but we are trying to get some youngsters involved. The cost is $50 which includes the $5 ramp fee, tournament entry and a $5 big bass pot. If any of you would like to fish, that would be great. Just let me know. I think we will have BBQ lunch afterwards that is included or it may cost a couple bucks if we have a big turnout. Doug, I really appreciate it. Coach is having to do it all on his own, so help is always welcome. I know he would like to have you and Jeffrey fish if you can. If any of the other guys are interested in fishing that is great too. One other thing, there will be give aways for kids under 14, it probably wont be much, but they will get something to make it more fun for them. John

John, unfortunately Aaron has double header that day, has to be at ballpark at 11am. Count us in however, to get there by 6am and help get things going for you. May even drag the boat with us, chip in our share, but dont worry about weighing in…its for a good cause. I will call soon. I would be the only person in my house with any past or present CHS ties unfortunately….Will talk to Doug to see if I can help out you guys as I live 5 minutes away. Got a tournament the next day but could probably swing helping out if you guys need any help- WardC.O.D. Jr. III
