My partner forgot a fish in the livewell the other day and Im stuck with trying to clean the mess and smell. What can I clean the livewell with that will not hurt fish? Im sure this questions been ask before, thanks for any help in advance. D
Vinegar,,,,,just pour some distilled white vinegar in with four parts water and run pumps, etc,,,,May need to wipe down a bit, but usually does the trick just soaking. D.
BTS boat polish. GREAT for the boat and does a great job for cleaning the livewells. Wipe down the sides, run the pumps with some water and you are done. Ron
oxy clean- will kill the smell, shouldnt hurt the fish if you run clean water through after. someone might know about the fisk kill part but definately kills the smell. left a fish in at night (didnt have those nice lighted BC livewells)
