I have been having to use a plug to keep water in my livewell. the switch hasnt been working — is there an adjustment that can be made to tighten the cable? the control valve in the bilge area looks tough to get too. Any help is appreciated. Thank

The valve flapper is probably not sealing. You probably need a new valve. You might check the cable as it too can come loose from the valve.

DMOV, It is common for these to wear. Also the cables can slip in the screw down J Clip that holds the cable in place at the rear vavle assembly. Check for cable slip, and you may need to replace the valve.
