Livewell questions for a 98 Pantera II

I have been having issues with my livewell for sometime now and I was wondering if I can find some kind of diagram for it… I have no power for my freshwater in (side panel button) and no power for my aerator (digidash)…I looked around today but im having a hard time figuring out what goes where..Thanks

This could be a tough one. The freshwater is only through the master power panel and the switches on the side on this model. So if you have power at the switches, then you should have power at the wiring, unless it is in the breaker on the panel. The aerator, does it show a Fault Signal on the dash? If so then you either have a wiring problem, or a pump failure. These are amperage regualted, and it may run hot wired, though not through the protected system. If it is not getting power out of the dash, then try to see if the Accessory switch is used. If not put the aerator on it and run it manual to fill, and use your recirculator on the timer. Jon83 I have a 97 PII. My freshwater in lights up but nothing happens. I think I ask this question every few years because I am over 50 and I dont use it very often. My recirc lights up with no faults but no pump. I just got back from a fishing trip and will see what I got and compare notes with you. The aero pump worked fine on manual and auto. LW pump out worked fine. Glad to hear that BCB is using tin plated copper wire now.Tim

BCB : The aerator does not show fault in the dash. I will check to make sure I got power at the pumps this week.Tswanson : Seems like we have the exact same problem… Freshwater in lights up but nothing happens… I hear no pumps! My aero pump was working fine last season…. I used it all the time since my freshwater in didnt work but now its dead too… So the only way to bring water in is thru the valve but that doesnt recirculate water and brings in only a certain amount of water… I have to figure this out before my first tournament because im afraid the fish wont make it very long without it!!Thanks for your help guys.. I will post back once I know more.

Ill be checking them on the water tomorrow seeing as I have my first tournament saturday…. I have a stupid question though… I only see 2 pumps going to the livewell. Is it the same pump that does water in, recirculator and aerator? The other pump (at the bottom) is obviously water out… Thanks

There are two in the wells, one for recirc and one for water pump out. The main aerator is on the valve in the sump turned sideways. You will see the cable running to it. BCB

And what about the main water in switch (not in the dash)? Does it use the same pump as the main aerator?

No it uses an outside pump through the rear of the hull if you are speaking of the freshwater in pump.

Yes, I am talking about the freshwater in switch. I believe I did see a pump at the bottom of the hull near the transom.Just to confirm :- 1 pump for fresh water out- 1 pump for fresh water in- 1 pump for recirculator- 1 pump for bilge- 1 pump for main aerator (not sure about that one yet)Thanks a lot!! I hope I get some water in that livewell before saturdays tournament!!I will know more tomorrow

Should be two bilge pumps too.
