Livewell without pump-in pump-out

When on plane or on the trailer the livewell system will be on 100% recirculate….so you are getting the critical oxygen input through the spray bars and the movement of water to break down the amonia build up. Make sure that you lift the lids at least every thirty minutes to allow fresh air into the livewell. Ice at that point would help because you are not adding 90 degree fresh water into the mix. When off plane in the lake you get a 60% freashwater input and a 40% recirculation ratio. With the hot temps here, I have still not lost a fish and have never added ice or chemicals. But, I also fish very shallow water and the bass do not have to make a fatal transition from cool sub-temps to bathwater surface temps. I have an 08 Sabre also. Single pump for filling the livewell. I added a 750gph pump (as recommended by BCB) for a recirculation. Simple install. Mounted pump about 3″ above livewell drain and tied the discharge hose to the existing spray bar. I added a standard spray head for the fill pump. In the center of your Vision Touch Pad is a “hidden” switch that will power the new pump fine. It is not on a timer tho; which is okay and left the fill pump on the timer. Took about a day to complete; work-rest-think about the next step-work-rest-explain to wife why I was drilling a hole in our new boat-rest-rest-wait till she went back inside and finished the job…………Seriously, it isnt a difficult task, the hardest part was routing the wires up to the Vision Pad. I used an electricians fish tape for that. My hat goes off to the riggers at the factory, they must have double and triple hinged arms to get into and up under the rear deck!

The valve you have is the simplest in two positions and the most reliable. We would add a record pump.
