lock and haul

I know we have gone over this about whether to use a motor toter or not , but I was wondering what bcb thought about the lock and haul toter which does not support the motor off the the trailer but off of the transom itself.thnxmark

Full length support is all BCB recommends.

BCB believes the transom saver is to protect the transom and the motor mounts when trailering. The short mounted supports allow the engine to move and do not remove leverage from the transom. They only protect the trim cylinders.

Was running to a tournament on Saturday with a friend who had one. He told me that he didnt care for the clearance the L&H gave the skeg on his boat. He had hit his driveway several times backing the boat in. When we got to the tournament site, he came up and was pissed. Told me the L&H had fallen off while we we trailering. All he had supporting the motor were the hydraulics.

I THINK THE MAIN DIFFERENCE IS ONE IS A MOTOR TOTTER (SHORT ONE) AND ONE IS A TRANSOM SAVER AND MOTOR TOTTER (LONG ONE) IF YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT TRANSOM STRESS WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD USE THE SHORT ONE.MY SELF I WANT BOTH SO I USE THE LONG ONE.
