I think anytime you have a motor rigged to a boat that isnt original equipment, it raises a few questions. Sometimes low hours scare me more than moderate hours. I dont think 2-strokes do well with sitting for long periods unless properly maintained. Sounds stupid, but I would make sure it isnt the extra long shaft, being that its a salt water model. A guy I know learned that the hard way, buying a boat before looking at it in person.
