Be sure to verify the warranty on any New In Box (NIB) engine over 2 production years in age. They do not have any warranty unless they have been individually approved by the Mercury Warranty Department. Not that they are not a bargain anyway, as they could be, though do not assume they will have full warranty without Merc putting their stamp of approval on it. This has been a Mercury Policy for several years after some damaged insurance engines got sold as new product. BCB

I have a brand new current model 150 opti in box for $9550 and a 200 opti in box for $12,300. If want just used i have a 94 Mariner 150 mag II in excellent shape I will sell for $1800.Call Me At 832-236-3474ThanksMike

what would my 1997, 200 mariner be worth trade in? it is in very good shape, runs 71 gps on my classic.

The trade value on your engine is around $2200. Thats if it checks out on compression and lower unit. Let us know if we can help.
